Welcome to Pack 7355 Elementary School Classes Race

The Elementary School Classes Race is a race category consisting only of cars entered by teachers from elementary schools within Limestone County, Alabama. This is an opportunity for teachers to present Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to students. Each car entered in this category will only race against cars in this category. To enter, the class must be Kindergarten through Fifth Grade within a school in Limestone County, Alabama. 

Any car approved to race in this category will race against other cars in this category, regardless of grade. This is made to be fun and exciting for the kids, with the possibility of getting a trophy. The more fun should come from building and decorating the car and then watching the car race down the track.

We have 1st through 3rd place Trophies, the Cubmaster Choice Trophy, and the People's Choice Trophies for this event. So, not only can the fastest car win a trophy, but the best-looking cars based on the Cubmaster and the People can also win trophies.

The Teacher of the classroom will be the representative for the class they are signing up. If others from the school wish to participate, please check out our Outlaw Race. 

Cub Scout pack 7355 will provide the representative with one pinewood derby kit that the scouts use for their race. You can use this kit or purchase premade kits from the internet that fall within the rules of this competition. The pack will only provide one representative from each agency with a pinewood derby kit. 

Only one car from each classroom may participate in the Elementary School Class race. 

If additional children wish to race, please fill out the Outlaw Race Sign-up Sheet to race in the Outlaw Race. Outlaw Race fees will apply.  

For this event, we have trophies for 1st through 3rd place, the Cub Master's Choice Trophy, and the People's Choice Trophy. 

To enter your company into Pack 7355 Pinewood Derby, don't hesitate to contact admin7355@pack7355.com to discuss the fees available for each company. 

Racers or Representatives are responsible for reading and abiding by the rules. Anyone not abiding by the rules will not be eligible for the awards and may be unable to participate.

The Charter Organization Representative, Committee Chair, Cubmaster, and Assistant Cubmaster have the final say on any discrepancies, and the decision is final. 

 All cars and signs must be in good taste, as we have children involved with these races. The Pack has the right to refuse admittance of any car or sign that is derogatory or inappropriate.
